A drivers license is required to rent our boats no boating license required but recommended.

Fishing Packages

Create lifelong memories with your family while enjoying the exceptional fishing opportunities our world-class lakes offer. We provide tailored fishing packages designed for local lakes and various fish species.

  • Bass Fishing Package: Equipped with spinning rods and reels, a baitcasting rod, and a tackle box stocked with proven-effective baits for Northern Michigan waters.
  • Pan Fishing Package: Includes spinning rods, push-button rods, and essential equipment for pan fishing, such as bobbers, artificial baits, hooks for live bait (bring your own), and more.

Requirements to Rent Boats

• You must be at least age 21 to rent and operate our rental boats.

• An agreement and waiver must be read and signed prior to your reservation.

• We process a $1000 damage deposit. Each boat is inspected prior to departure and upon your return. If any damage or loss occurs, the renter can incur charges accordingly.

• If you return past the contracted time, you will be charged accordingly.

• All renters must abide by the Northshore Company rules, and adhere to the information provided on the Lake Map.

• All children under the age of 13 must wear a life vest at all times.

• Pets are only allowed with a $25 pet fee and you are responsible for all damage caused by your pet. 

• Smoking, hookahs, grills, or anything with a flame are NOT allowed on any of our rental boats.

•  Please review our full Terms and Conditions prior to renting a boat. 

Cancellation Policy

  • Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 7 days notice of cancellation.

  • Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Contact us by phone to inquire about cancellations. No-shows will be charged the full price.

  • In the event of non-boatable weather we may release you from your reservation and refund your charges excluding cancellation insurance. Non-boatable weather is defined by all day rain, all day storms and high winds. Since Northern Michigan weather changes by the minute and location we may opt to send you out for a half day rental (discounted rate). The determination will be made by late morning the day of your rental, including release from your reservation without charge. It is your responsibility to contact us before your rental to discuss the weather forecast. Cooler temperatures or overcast conditions do not qualify as non-boatable weather. We suggest you dress in layers. Protect yourself by adding cancellation insurance at the time of booking! *excludes the 3% booking fee
