Winterization

Winterization: Inboard/Outboard/V-Drive/PWC: 

This is the last look at your boat before being stored. Its the best opportunity to make sure the boat does not require lengthy repairs and if they do we can repair over the winter season so it doesn't' interrupt your summer. 

Pump antifreeze (glycol), change engine oil and filters, grease, Running antifreeze through applicable systems such as live well, toilet, and toilets.

Engine:

• Battery: Charge and Test
• Battery Cables: Inspect
• Belts: Inspect
• Bilge Pump: Test
• Blower Motor: Test
• Drive Oil: Completed during winterization
• Engine Oil: Completed during winterization
• Hoses: Inspect and tighten
• Hydraulic Fluid: Check fluid level - stern drive
• Flame Arrestor: Inspect
• Power Steering: Check fluid level - stern drive
• Transmission Fluid: Check fluid level and condition - inboard
• Water Separating Fuel Filter: Completed during winterization
• Grease points: Completed during winterization
• Running antifreeze through applicable systems such as live well, toilet, and toilets: Completed during winterization

Gauges:

• Oil Pressure: Check function and reading
• Temperature: Check function and reading
• Fuel: Check function and reading
• Volts: Check function and reading
